Account and data deletion
You can delete your Trexana account and all data associated with it in two ways: in the app or, if the app is not installed, by email. Both routes lead to the same procedure, described in section 13 of the Privacy Policy.
Fastest route: Profile → Account → Delete account. Deletion is deferred by 14 days; signing in during that window cancels it.
1. In the app
Open your profile, go to the Account section and tap Delete account. After confirmation the account is scheduled for deletion.
Deletion is deferred by 14 days so that an accidental request can be undone: signing in during that period cancels it. After 14 days the data is deleted permanently and is removed from backups within the following 30 days.
2. Without the app
If the app is not installed, send an email to privacy@trexana.app from the email address the account is registered to — this is how we verify that the request comes from you. If you sign in with Google, write from the address used for sign-in. Put “Account deletion” in the subject or body.
We process the request within 10 business days and send a confirmation to the same address. The same 14-day deferral then applies as for deletion in the app.
3. What is deleted
- account data: email, name, subscription status in our system;
- workout and programme history, technique scores and analysis results stored on the server;
- app settings linked to the account.
4. Data on your device
Set videos, your body calibration profile, health questionnaire answers, achievements and local settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers. They are removed together with the app’s data: uninstalling the app or clearing its data is enough.
5. What may be kept longer
Payment records are kept by Google Play or Apple under their own rules, and transaction data may be retained beyond the deletion period where the law requires it, for example for tax purposes. Anonymised aggregated statistics not linked to your account may be used to improve the app.
6. Subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it separately in the settings of the relevant store — see the Subscription Terms.
