Subscription Terms
These Terms describe how a Trexana subscription is taken out, paid for, renewed and cancelled. They form part of the Terms of Use and are read together with them. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
In short: the subscription is purchased through an app store, renews automatically and is cancelled in the same place — in your Google Play or App Store settings. We do not process payments and cannot cancel a subscription or refund money on your behalf, but we will help you in a dispute with the store.
1. Free access and Pro
The app can be used free of charge. On free access, analysis is limited to three exercises per day; training history, progress and the other basic features are available without a count limit.
A Pro subscription removes the daily limit and unlocks additional capabilities. The current scope of paid features and the current limits of free access are always shown in the app — they may change as the app develops, in the manner described in section 10.
An account is required to use the app in either form.
2. Prices and taxes
The current subscription price in your currency is shown in the app and in the app store before you confirm the purchase. This document describes the terms of the subscription, not its price.
All prices are stated inclusive of applicable taxes, including VAT and equivalent charges, unless the app store indicates otherwise. The final price for your country and the way taxes are calculated are determined by the store.
3. How a subscription is taken out
The subscription is purchased through an app store — Google Play or the App Store. The store acts as the seller: the contract of sale is concluded with it, payment is taken through your store account, and the purchase confirmation comes from it. We provide the service itself.
The contract is concluded at the moment the purchase is confirmed in the store. Errors made during checkout are corrected through the store, since payment takes place on its side.
4. Trial period
If a free trial is offered for the subscription, its terms — duration and the features included — are shown before you activate it.
When the trial ends, a paid subscription on the selected plan starts automatically and payment is taken immediately, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Cancelling during the trial does not deprive you of access until it expires.
How many trials are available to you is determined by the app store's rules.
5. Automatic renewal
The subscription renews automatically for the same period — a month or a year — unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment for the new period is taken within the 24 hours preceding its start.
The term of a subscription is determined by the calendar and does not depend on how actively you use the app.
For consumers habitually resident in Germany. At the end of the initially selected term your subscription is extended for an indefinite period, and you may cancel it at any time on no more than one month's notice before the end of the relevant billing period.
6. Changing your plan
You can move to a different plan through the app store. How amounts already paid are credited is determined by the store's rules:
- Google Play ends the current subscription immediately and applies any unused value to the new one; once that credit is used up, the subscription renews at the price and interval you selected;
- the App Store refunds the unused part on a pro rata basis, and the new subscription is taken out at the price shown to you.
A move to a cheaper plan generally takes effect at the start of the next billing period. The exact terms are shown by the store before you confirm.
7. How to cancel
The subscription is managed in the store where it was bought — we are technically unable to cancel it for you:
- Android: Google Play → menu → Subscriptions → Trexana → Cancel subscription;
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Trexana → Cancel subscription.
After cancellation, access to Pro features continues until the end of the period already paid for. No partial refund is made for unused time unless the store's rules or mandatory rules of the law of your country provide otherwise.
Deleting your account in the app ends the user contract but does not cancel the subscription automatically — it must be cancelled separately in the store.
8. Refunds and right of withdrawal
Refunds. All payments are processed by the app store, and refunds follow its rules:
- Android: Google Play → Order history → Report a problem;
- iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com or Settings → Purchases.
We do not process payments and cannot initiate a refund ourselves, but at your request we will help you in a dispute with the store — write to support@trexana.app.
Right of withdrawal. Consumers resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom may withdraw from the contract within 14 days; consumers in Brazil may do so within 7 days under Article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code. Because the app store acts as the seller of the subscription, this right is exercised through it.
The right of withdrawal applies to newly taken-out subscriptions and does not apply to the automatic renewal of a subscription already in force. See the right of withdrawal section of the Terms of Use for details and for the model withdrawal form.
9. Price changes
We may change the price of the subscription. For a subscription in force you will be notified of a change in advance in the manner set by the app store's rules and will be able to cancel before the new price takes effect. Not cancelling means you accept the new price.
If the subscription was taken out at a discount or as part of a special offer, the discount generally applies only for the term initially selected. On automatic renewal the full price of the subscription is charged. This is disclosed before you confirm the purchase.
10. Changes to and discontinuation of plans
We may change the set of features included in the plans and discontinue individual plans, on advance notice.
If a change materially degrades functionality you have already paid for, we will tell you in good time and you will be able to cancel the subscription. In that case the unused part of the payment is refunded pro rata under the rules of the app store and applicable law.
11. Termination of a subscription by us
We may terminate a subscription on at least two weeks' written notice, taking effect at the end of the paid period. In the event of a material breach of the Terms of Use, the procedure in the section on suspension and termination of access applies.
If a subscription is terminated through no fault of yours, the paid and unused part is refunded pro rata under the rules of the app store and applicable law.
